About Maggie D'Angelo, PMHNP-BC

Maggie D’Angelo, PMHNP-BC, is an experienced board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Cary Behavioral Health in Cary, North Carolina. 

Maggie is passionate about helping people. She began her nursing career after graduating from Charity Hospital School of Nursing in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

After discovering her dedication to psychology, she obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina in Asheville. She then completed her academic career at East Carolina University, where she received her master’s degree.

Maggie is an exceptional provider with a compassionate heart and a holistic approach to patient-centered care. She takes pride in helping patients overcome mood disorders, traumatic brain injuries, depression and anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

She’s also a firm believer in the provider-patient relationship, valuing every interaction she has with every patient to form a professional bond that aids treatment and recovery.

Maggie has been a nurse for over 10 years, bringing knowledge and experience to Cary Behavioral Health. She strives to give every patient a high-quality and compassionate experience while overcoming mental health issues.

In her free time, Maggie enjoys spending quality time with her husband and family.
